24 квітня 2024 року за ініціативи кафедри іноземних мов Сумського державного педагогічного університету імені А.С. Макаренка було проведено міждисциплінарну студентську наукову конференцію, присвячену ДНЯМ НАУКИ та 100-РІЧЧЮ заснування Сумського державного педагогічного університету імені А.С. Макаренка.
На конференції було презентовано наукові здобутки і дослідницькі досягнення студентів нашого університету, які є активними учасниками наукових студентських гуртків під керівництвом викладачів кафедри іноземних мов. Захід було організовано у онлайн форматі, але це не вплинуло на загальну теплу невимушену атмосферу, активність студентів, жваву дискусію та обмін ідеями, досвідом, науковими думками. Доповідачі представили свої результати як українською, так і англійською мовами. Тематика доповідей варіювала, адже наші учасники є студентами усіх факультетів нашого університету (усього захід зібрав 55 учасників). Доповіді, які викликали найбільшу увагу та обговорення: «Культурна дипломатія та її вплив на суспільство» (Єленевська Анастасія, 4 курс, спеціальність «Міжнародні відносини», науковий керівник к.п.н.,доц. Чикалова М.М.), «Вплив академічної мобільності на удосконалення навичок іншомовного мовлення студентів – міжнародників» (Осадча Анастасія, 3 курс, спеціальність «Міжнародні відносини», науковий керівник к.п.н.,доц. Чикалова М.М.), «Англійська мова в сфері інформаційних та комп’ютерних технологій» (Давиденко Дар'я, гр. 413, 1 курс, спеціальність «Інформатика», науковий керівник к.п.н.,доц. Чикалова М.М.), «Modern problems and prospects of distance educational technologies» (Цибульник Наталія, 1 курс, спеціальність «Українська мова і література. Англійська мова», науковий керівник к.п.н.,доц. Коваленко С.М.).

The conference was interesting. I was very interested in listening to the reports in English. I think Anastasia's presentation was very motivating. Also, the reports of the girls who spoke in English were informative and interesting. I would like to recognize their courage) The report of the fourth girl, who would like to involve more English literature in her studies, was also attractive. The conference left a good impression and was successful.
2) Дмитро Тверезовський
In my opinion one of the most important moments at the conference was when it was mentioned that one of the speakers didn't speak English before. But she was able to learn to speak in English, but is not afraid to speak English іn public. And it gives us a kind of motivation to learn foreign languages. Also I was interested in the information about academic mobility. I liked the speaker’s presentations in English. Summarizing, I can say that the conference was amazing.

The conference was packed with valuable information. All the presentations captivated my attention. I was particularly impressed by the English-language presentation given by the first speaker. The fact that she was not afraid to speak up, being only a first-year student.

The training conference was informative and interesting. I really enjoyed this conference. Despite the fact that the meeting was held online, from the first minutes the conference participants managed to create a trusting atmosphere that facilitated open, sincere communication. Not the least role in this was played by the open interest of the students both in the topic of the conversation and in the personality of the conference participants. Anastasia's speech was very interesting and informative for me. It is also necessary to note the performances of other girls who managed to successfully reveal their topics. I was impressed that they speak English fluently. The conference was successful and left a good impression on me.

It was very nice when I understood what they were talking about) I would like to say that Anastasia Yelinevska's speech was very constructive and interesting. I really liked it. I also liked the girl's first presentation, because we could not only listen but also see what she wanted to convey to us. Thank you for the opportunity to attend this conference).
