On the last day of March 2026, a regular meeting took place between third-year International Relations students from the Educational and Scientific Institute of History, Law, and International Relations at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko and the 11th-grade students from the Municipal Institution of Sumy Regional Council, Sumy Regional Academic Lyceum named after Dmytro Yevdokymov.
This event was organised by Maryna Chykalova, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, as part of the cooperation agreement between the two educational institutions.
During the meeting, student Anna Hontar delivered a presentation in academic English, highlighting the key aspects of academic mobility opportunities available to university students. She also shared her personal experience participating in an exchange program at a university in Georgia.
Student Arina Lymarenko presented an engaging topic titled “International Etiquette in Diplomacy and Business,” showcasing her high level of proficiency in Business English along with well-developed communication skills in the field of International Relations.
