International Academic Mobility at the Department of English Philology and Linguodidactics

aleksenko fbcd3Senior Lecturer of the Department of English Philology and Linguodidactics, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana ALEKSENKO completed the international academic mobility program in a remote format at the International Historical Biographical Institute (Dubai – New York – Rome – Burgas – Jerusalem – Beijing) spanning from 10 February 2026 to 10 April 2026.

The program was implemented within the framework of the international scientific internship “Nobel Laureates: Studying Experience and Professional Achievements for the Formation of a Successful Personality and the Transformation of the Surrounding World,” funded through International Scientific Grant No. IEG/U/26/01/12 “East–West” and the International Programs FP&NL.

The carefully designed internship program, amounting to 180 hours (6 ECTS credits), consisted in the step-by-step mastering the modules comprising integrative analytics and interpretation of the phenomenon of the outstanding intellectual and value-oriented contribution of Nobel laureates to the process of transforming today’s global challenges into motivational, transformational, educational and competency-based advantages. The modules were delivered through lectures followed by practice-oriented mini-forums devoted to the applied potential of various models of intellectual leadership, innovative thinking, the development of academic culture in general and the academic ecology of communication in particular.

As a result of the successful completion of the academic mobility program, the lecturer was awarded the qualifications of International Lecturer and Senior Researcher in recognition of her high level of professional and academic competence. The international certificate obtained upon completion of the program confirms compliance of the lecturer’s level of professional competence with the standards of international practice. Participation in the international scientific internship contributed to the enhancement of her research competencies in the context of contemporary globalization challenges, the acquisition of modern methodologies for organizing scientific activity, the improvement of skills in conducting academic multicultural dialogue and promoting the policy and culture of academic integrity as well as the integration of innovative educational practices into the teaching of the English language, literature and culture.
