We are pleased to announce that researchers of the Inter-University Research Laboratory of TESOL Modern Technologies of the Department of English Philology and Linguodidactics presented a joint research paper titled: "Developing Intercultural Communicative Competence of Pre-Service ESL Teachers Through AI-Driven Games".
The speech was delivered by Hanna Podosynnikova, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of English Philology and Linguodidactics, Head of the Inter-University Research Laboratory of TESOL Modern Technologies, and Vice President of TESOL Ukraine – presenting the results of research conducted together with Vlada Homolia, MA student, Member of the Inter-University Research Laboratory, and Specialist at the Center for English Language Teaching Excellence.
The study explores how AI-powered game-based approaches can foster intercultural communicative competence among future English language teachers – a timely and vital topic at the intersection of pedagogy, technology, and language education.
