Наші магістранти, члени Cтудентської наукової лабораторії методики навчання іноземних мов і культур, підрозділу Міжуніверситетської науково-дослідної лабораторії сучасних технологій навчання іноземних мов і культур (керівник – к.пед.н., доцент Г.І.Подосиннікова), Аліна ДВОРЯНОВА та Артем ПРЯДКА провели з учнями 11 і 10 класів Класичної гімназії міста Суми (учитель англійської мови – Пушко І.І., заступник директора гімназії з навчально-виховної роботи та учитель Багірова С.М.) чергове засідання кіноклубу за авторською методикою «Кіноклуб вчителя англійської мови» (керівник Г.І.Подосиннікова) – цього разу за анімаційним фільмом “Inside out” на засадах соціально-емоційного навчання.
Наші емоції, їх усвідомлення та регуляція є вкрай важливою темою, про яку варто згадувати частіше, ніж ми звикли це робити. Вони допомагають нам описати свій стан, події, думки, захищають та дають змогу впоратися з негараздами. Говорили про важливість усвідомлення власних емоцій у навчанні та житті, те, як регулювати свій емоційний стан, не замовчувати та не подавляти свої емоції суму або гніву. Учні залюбки пропонували ідеї, щодо того, як правильно виражати емоції, аби не зашкодити собі та іншим людям. Обговорювали теми здорової підтримки, подолання негараздів, ділилися своїми спогадами та моментами з особистого досвіду. Не обійшлося без завдань різних типів, що дали змогу розвинути компетентність учнів в аудіюванні та розширити їх словниковий запас.

What appeals to me most is the diversity of after-watching exercises, which were not only about the plot, but also about our personal opinions, experiences and thoughts. And I should mention that the movie itself was captivating, vibrant and even touching. I’d undoubtedly recommend watching it. “We recently had a film club. This is a great activity that not only makes the lesson interesting and fun, but also expands our vocabulary and listening comprehension. For this lesson a rather famous and profound cartoon called "Inside Out" was chosen. In general, it was fun and useful to listen to excerpts from it and then do tasks to test our skills, but there were too many tasks planned and we managed to do only a little more than half of them in 2 lessons. Perhaps we should reduce the number of tasks that are not related to expanding our vocabulary and speaking skills. Despite the shortage of time, we had a great and, most importantly, useful time” Artur Naumov 11D
“I am so grateful for having a movie club. In my opinion, such kind of learning English is amazing with a huge amount of its benefits.
There is no doubt that films and TV series offer a rich vocabulary spectrum. We encounter a broad range of words, idioms, and expressions and a little bit of useful slang expanding our lexical repertoire beyond what might be covered in traditional language courses.
Moreover, I was admired of the choice of the movies. We had some cartoons and one film. It was a good idea to compare character’s accents and the manner of their speech.
Nevertheless, I would like to have more listening time. For instance, we had five minutes for one scene and then some exercises. I mean, that it would be a good experience in watching the full movie and then having some questions.
Alina was awesome because she didn’t force us to anything. Furthermore, excellent presentations and useful tasks. Thanks Irina Igorevna and Alina (and also Artem) for this unique opportunity”
